VRI Intercentre
Indoor Bias Bowls Competition:
The VRI has sponsored the Annual Intercentre Indoor
Bias Bowls Competition for many years, our continued
thanks to the VRI Council for their continued
support for this program.
The Competition is played annually, in late July,
rotating between Sebastopol Bowls Club in Ballarat,
and Altona Sports Club in Altona.
The latest Competition was held in Sebastopol, on
July 26 2009, with teams from Ballarat VRI, Sunshine
VRI, Seymour VRI, Altona Sports and VRI Bowls Club
participating. A total of 10 teams took to the
mats.
Congratulations go to Ballarat VRI, who again showed
their dominance in the competition, by taking out
most of the prizes. Last year's winners,
Altona Sports, threatened to make it back to back,
but failed at the last hurdle.

years Competitions will be posted in due course,
below are some highlights from the 2009 Competition.
Thanks again to the many players who participated,
particularly those who filled in at the last minute,
and to the visitors and officials who attended the
day. We look forward to another successful
event at Altona Sports in 2010.
