2010 Carnival Completed

The 2010 ANZRI Lawn Bowls Carnival has been successfully completed, with the Presentation Dinner

        at the University of Ballarat.

             Congratulations to All who attended the 38th ANZRI Lawn Bowls Carnival, in Ballarat, in Feb 2010.

             The Queensland Side won the Commissioners Shield & Denniss Cup, being undefeated in all games.
             Victoria were Second, winning the Kiwi Trophy, a reversal of the 2008 Result from Rotorua.

             Victoria Won the Anderson Trophy, the Reserve Four's Competition.

             Queensland won the Davey Paxman Trophy (Best Rink in Commissioners Shield) - Hans Ah-Chee, Clifford Cook,

             Ross Phoenix & Robert Cook (s).  Jim Waters (s) QLD & Leo McNamara (s) VIC rink's were also undefeated.

             Queensland won the Howse Cup (Singles Championship) - David Buxton.  Victoria (Tony Villani) was Runner-up.

             New South Wales won the James Cairns Trophy (Pairs Championship) - Chris Koulouris (s) & Jeffrey Cook.
             Queensland were Runners Up (Robert Cook (s) & Robert Hammond).

             Victoria won the ANI Trophy (Triples Championship) - Peter Wesselman, Paul Rolfe & Robert Dickson(s).
             Queensland were Runners Up (Hans Ah-Chee, Trevor Triechel & Peter Cullen (s)).

             New South Waleswon the Alan Simpson Shield (Fours Championship) - Steve Shroj, David Woods, Don O'Neill. &

             Phil Johns (s). 
             Western Australia were Runners Up (Frank Hasen, Kevin Dawes, Keith Emms & Paul Donovan (s)).
